    The Bookkeeper and Office Coordinator should have an Associate's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience, as well as a knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles. Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of the QuickBooks accounting software package.


    The Bookkeeper and Office Coordinator must be organized, feel comfortable and cool-headed working in a fast-paced and exciting environment, have strong communications skills (written & oral), have strong computer skills (Quickbooks, MS Office, email), very strong budgeting and money management abilities, and willing to work and communicate with a diverse group of co-workers & volunteers.


    Job Description
    The Bookkeeper and Office Coordinator manages all of the finances related to Festival International (a $1.4 million non-profit) in addition to maintaining general office operations. This position will use Quickbooks to reconcile all accounts, post payables and receivables, issue financial statements, monitor invoices for accuracy and provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.
