Louisiana International Music Expo (LIME) presented by Festival International de Louisiane and Lafayette Convention & Visitors Commission is a mixer style event, designed specifically for Acadiana-area musicians to share their music with prominent music presenters and talent buyers from all over the world. Lime also acts as a networking event for visiting music buyers who attend Festival International.

LIME creates professional opportunities for interaction between area musicians, presenters, agents and music labels. Presenters and music label executives are looking for musicians in a variety of music genres including: Blues, Cajun, Zydeco, Louisiana Roots Rock, Folk, Swamp Pop, Jazz/Swing, Singer/Songwriter, Gospel, and Children's music. All artists must be currently living in the Acadiana region.

Past attendees include agents and talent buyers from: Lincoln Center Music Festival (Washington D.C.), World Music Institute (New York), Marabi Productions/Musiques-Metisses Festival (France), Citifolk Festival (Dayton, Ohio), Blues Passion Festival (France), Lake Eden Arts Festival (North Carolina), Red River Revel Music Festival (Louisiana), Festivals Acadiens de Caraquet (New Brunswick), Rhythm & Roots Festival (Rhode Island), Savannah World Music Festival (Georgia), Montreal Jazz Festival (Canada), and many more.

LIME helps build relationships between artists and presenters, and assits with the state of Louisiana's efforts to increase economic wealth of by capitalizing on Louisiana's largest cultural export...music.
